“ A search on Yelp for independent breakfast spots while on vacation in Destin, I picked this lace for my mother and I to try. Kinda reminded me of an old beach town breakfast joint meets Denny's, with the curved booth seats and pastry/donut cases behind the cash-out station. They also sell something like 9-10 Destin tees and some knickknacks around that front doors and pastry cases. Hot tasty food. Menu touches on several breakfast and lunch items. There was also a chalk board full of specials. I tried the Banana Nut Pancakes. Good, maybe a bit too sweet for my tastebuds, but decent nonetheless. My mom got their classic scrambled eggs, bacon and toast and was pleased with her plate. You pay at the front register here, where they have their glass casing showcasing their fresh made donuts and pastries. We got a dozen to take home to the rest of the fam, a nice sweet treat for the morning sunshine! If I make it back down to Destin, I'd gladly stop and try more things off this menu. A great locally owned restaurant definitely worth our visit. ”

“ Another amazing experience at the donut hole for our annual trip and drive back home! This year I snagged a mug so I could dream about it while having coffee until next year. Service could have been better, as the lady assisting didn't provide much assistance or smile. Seemed annoyed that it was taking our 2 children a minute to decide. Breakfast line was busy as usual but seemed to be moving quickly. Donut line was walk right up! We tried the strawberry sprinkle, chocolate sprinkle, vanilla angel (UH MAZING AND WISH I HAS 20 more!!) and maple glazed. We also snagged a pretty looking brownie! ”

“ Walked from our hotel to the cafe at 5:45 a.m. There was a small line, as soon as they opened we were greeted and seated. Ordered the Florida tomato gravy and biscuits, and chili and cheese omelette. The waitress brought out a small dish of the gravy to taste before ordering and it is one of the best things I have ever tasted. Chili on the cheese omelette was definitely homemade. Ordered donuts to go and so fresh and delicious! 5 donuts, two breakfasts, coffee and a soda was $42.00. Reasonable priced for how yummy everything was. Seated, ordered our meal, ate our breakfasts and were out of there in 40 minutes! The waitress wished us well and said she will pray for us and our home. Out of this world experience!!! ”

“ Ok I see you Donut hole! Sadly, we saw how popular this place is based on the lines waiting to put their name in!!! We knew we had to try it, so we went for breakfast one day. We actually beat the rush and were seated right away... while sitting, it had a rush and the place was packed ! Snagged the crab cake Benedict's, my son had the small stack of pancakes, my husband grabbed the Omelette (w shrimp) and grits. My daughter preferring a lighter breakfast, she ordered the parfait. Thinking they only served donuts, this was a nice little surprise- even noticing, they're open into 10 pm at night. We very much loved the inside, old school Mom and Pop diner, w stools wrapped around the bar. I paid for 2 of their tshirts - very trendy, - my only regret, was not ordering ANY donuts... although I'm hoping to send my spouse tomorrow to grab them to go!!!! ”

“ We'd heard for years about The Donut Hole in Destin, FL...we finally tried it and were wildly pleased. Great service & friendly employees. Huge assortment and every one we tried was amazing... so much to choose from. Muffins & donuts, both plain or fancy are delicious! The restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast, too. Plenty of favorites to chose from. They make a magical Key Lime Pie, too! We NEVER drive past a DONUT HOLE...ever! ”
